I just had to write to thank you for playing at our recent Staff Awards Night. We first heard you at a colleagues wedding last year and those of us at the wedding could not stop talking about how fantastic the music was and how we never left the dance floor. With that in mind and being on the organising committee our first thought was to book you guys. Having 300 staff I always knew we would have a vast range of tastes when it came to music. I remember downloading your repertoire and holing a ‘mini survey’ with about 20 staff of differing ages- the overwhelming response was yes they would dance to the music you guys played. Come October 26th boy did they dance! It was a fabulous night- the dance floor was full all night – and many a guest was singing (although not quite as in tune as yourselves).I’m so glad you guys could help to make this awards night “the best ever” which is a pretty good rap considering we have been holding these nights for over 25 years. Everyone was up and dancing from the word go… and could have danced well into the hours of the morning if you'd kept playing! WE CHECKED OUT LOTS OF OTHER BANDS BUT NONE OF THEM MATCHED TIM A very fussy friend of mine highly recommended Tim when my husband and I were looking for someone to play at our wedding. So we thought we should definitely check him out. We really didn't know what we were looking for but loved Tim's sound and easy going nature. We checked out lots of other bands but none of them matched Tim. The main reasons we liked him were because he: * Has a great voice - always a good start * Was well priced - important when planning a wedding * Was flexible - how many people will learn & play "business time" by Flight of the Concords as a request... * Was attentive - he was always more than happy to chat to us about our thoughts and ideas * Was funny - He's a kiwi who doesn't take himself too seriously * Had a great mix of music - everything from the beatles to Jason Mraz and Silverchair * Was professional - he is experienced and therefore knew what would work well and what wouldn't Looking forward to hearing Tim play live again soon. TIM IS A GREAT GUY WHO IS GREAT AT HIS JOB, DONT HESITATE, JUST BOOK HIM.. When l first found Tim's advert in a magazine and read the testimonials l thought this is to good to be true! I contacted Tim and had a great chat with him. He just understood immediately what we were looking for. He sent me he's dvd that very day and l was very impressed with the content. He kept in touch but never in a pushy way and without actually seeing him live l booked him. l felt confident that he wouldn't let me down and l was right! l had Tim as a duo with fiddle player at the church and pre reception drinks. Tim gave me the upbeat but sincere music that we wanted for the church and the party feel for the rest of the night. I had Tim with guitar player for reception so there was a different sound. The music all day from church to late into the night never tired or lost momento if anything it just got better and better. Choosing Tim was a fantastic decision. When you read 'don't look any further you have found the best wedding music money can buy', YOU HAVE! Tim is a pleasure to deal with and we cannot recommend him highly enough. WE LOVED HIS SENSE OF HUMOUR AND EASY GOING NATURE Tim was easy to communicate with, with prompt and to-the-point replies to all of our email questions. We loved his sense of humour and easy-going nature, and appreciated his thorough preparation and professionalism. We had the chance to see Tim play live before our wedding, and were impressed with his renditions of the songs we asked him to play. The range of songs and styles which Tim was able to offer us in him play-list was excellent. The opportunity to have such a reputable guitarist (Mark Johns) to accompany Tim was great. The duo worked well together and provided good depth of sound – we would definitely request this option again. At the reception, Tim and Mark were laid-back yet professional, and Tim’s MCing was brilliant, especially when we threw in some last-minute additions to the running sheet! YOU ALWAYS ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS WHICH WAS A BIG ISSUE WITH OTHER VENDORS I just wanted to say a big thank you for your performance at our wedding and all your hard work in the lead up to the day, (especially learning those songs for us). Lots of people commented on how fantastic your were..Paul and I totally agree, both yourself and the other vendors made a wedding a day we will never forget as long as we live - it was a dream come true for both of us ...everything was perfect (except of course the drama with my dress !!) Your performance was fantastic - great songs, great voice, you did a wonderful job MC'ing as well, exactly what we wanted for our wedding. The website was great. Everything I needed to know was on those pages. The wedding song list - I did not want to choose the reception songs, I thought is was great that a list of really good songs was already done (You had a great mix that I knew everyone would love). After seeing you perform and from numerous emails we could tell that you were very friendly, Professional and was experienced (ie. had done weddings before). The price was extremely reasonable. Just a quick note to let you know how impressed we were with your performance at my birthday party last weekend. It was a rockin party and a lot of that can be attributed to your music. You would have noticed that from song number 1 everybody was up dancing around…something you don’t see too often these days…great result. It just goes to show that good memories certainly last a long time. I don’t know if you remember but I am the one that saw you at the Observer Hotel over 5 years ago and got your card. I’ve had it ever since and when the need arose I thought of you straight away…talk about making an impression! It's been a month since our wedding now and we are still receiving compliments about how good the entertainment was. Awesome flamenco guitaring at the ceremony to easy dinner music then amping it up to have everyone on the dance floor and cheering for more. Tim was highly professional from the first call we made to him. All questions answered easily and nothing was a problem. We were chuffed that Tim offered to handle the MC duties and stoked that he didn't hesitate to learn new songs for us. I can not thank you enough for your performance at our wedding. It was always the entertainment that was going to make or break our night and after dealing with you prior to our night I knew I had nothing to worry about. Then you began to play and absolutely exceeded our expectations. Your voice (and your partners) was fantastic. The songs were just so much fun. Greg and I both loved your relaxed approach to everything as I really do feel that it comes across to all the guests and creates a fantastic fun atmosphere. You have been a pleasure to deal with and made the wedding planning and day so easy. My now husband isn't really a big music buff and I found it difficult to pick songs that would suit the style of the evening. The forms you sent through were so great in prompting us both and made the task of picking songs so much easier. Overall the night was fantastic and the music had a very large part to play in that. All the guests had such a great night dancing and it was so great to see everyone having such a great time - they were even dancing on the cricket pitch at Wandin Valley! Several weeks ago my partner and I were shopping in Long Jetty and happened to hear music coming from the Long Jetty pub. We felt immediate drawn to take a closer look and a proper listen; for the voice we could hear, and the choice of songs, were very much to our liking. And what a super decision that was! As we sat there in the pub listening and enjoying Tim and his music, we hatched a plan. My partner had had a special birthday earlier in the year, but we had not really had a proper celebration to mark the occasion. I too was about to reach a 'milestone' as far as birthdays go, and to top it off, we had only just bought and moved into our new home. "Do you think Tim plays at private functions?" We wondered. A short conversation a little time later with Tim, and all was sorted for the 'Triple Celebration' with live music! Tim's music , personality and presence was the icing on the cake of our celebration. We originally found Tim through a Google search and booked him based on his emails and the videos of his performances on his webpage. Not long after we made the booking, I mentioned it to a friend who was getting married a few months before us. She had seen Tim at three weddings and loved every one of his performances, but he was already booked on the date of her wedding, so she was very jealous to hear that he was performing at ours. We then went to another friend’s wedding in the Hunter Valley and were surprised to see Tim there too! We really enjoyed his performance that night – he had everyone up and dancing and it was better than we had imaged! We really appreciated all of Tim’s help in planning the music for the day... customising the music selection and answering all of our (many, many) questions; and when it came to the day itself, we couldn’t have been happier!! We had a day time wedding and didn’t expect a lot of dancing, but Tim’s performance was fantastic and kept people on the dance floor. He also entertained those who didn’t want to dance, but just wanted to enjoy some great music – and since the day, all our guests have mentioned how much they loved the music. We would recommend him a thousand times over... Thanks Tim!!

We're happy to say that we chose Tim for our wedding, and he ended up being one of the highlights of our nights. While looking for a singer/band for the wedding, Tim was very helpful, answered all our questions, and the fact that he plays a gig about three times a week made it easy for us to go and see him before making our decision (he's also a really good musician, so that helps a fair bit!). Once we had picked him he continued to be helpful, was flexible with his timings and his set list, and made the music component of what can be a really stressful process super easy. On the day, Tim was excellent. His choice of music was perfect, he had people dancing, and his MC skills were exactly what we needed. Our guests loved him, and he helped make the night a great time for everyone there.

Abby and I would like to thank you very much for the fantastic job you guys did at our Wedding! What can we say; the Tim Pringle Duo Act rocked the ‘casbah’! Tim kept the dance floor alive from start to finish, with a fantastic energy and vibe which did not wane throughout the evening. They did it all, from mingling with the guests to making the most of the small area they had to work with. Everyone from grandchildren to grandparent got up to strut their stuff! When my husband proposed to me the one thing we knew immediately, was that we wanted Tim Pringle to be the entertainment. Everyone that came said they has an absolute ball and that the music was what made it so great. A Solo or Duo – Surely we need a full band? In the end the result is the same - well entertained & well impressed guests but.. * With guest numbers under 200 you really don’t need a full band * A solo or duo act takes up way less room & saves you $2-3000 * A solo or duo can be as loud as a band no problem – yes it’s true! * The reverse is not true - a band cannot be as quiet or as intimate as a solo or duo But a DJ or Jukebox is way cheaper? Yes they are – but Live entertainment is way better * A live act is simply more entertaining * A live act can be more dynamic – quiet & intimate – can alter tempos to suit * A live act can change lyrics to personalize songs and be funny * So long as a live act has a lot of varied songs & styles – they can be extremely versatile I currently have 350 songs ranging from Elvis to Wiggles. Playing a Wiggles song can be messy – I have seen the contents of many a guest’s schooner shoot out of their nose from laughter – so timing is crucial :) While planning our wedding reception, we knew what we DIDN’T want………..a DJ blasting out the usual Funky Town and Nutbush. We had seen Tim at a gig, and felt that live entertainment would be much better. It turned out to be the best decision we made. I will take away all the stress & worry about … * What songs to choose for your ceremony & reception by working with you every step of the way to suggest songs & learn up to 2 new songs. * You can relax & leave most of the song choices to me or utilise my easy to use forms to list out your ceremony & reception song preferences. * I provide lists of songs that I know from experience work well However many emails or phone calls it takes my commitment is to work with you to get the music exactly right for you for your day. Pre reception Canapés and...........entertainment? This is an extra option - nice for your guests while you are away having photos. It’s worth considering if there is a few hours wait for your guests before you arrive at the reception. Price on application – There are many variables – Solo or Duo, convenience of location – ie if pre reception canapes are not same location as ceremony or reception then it means a little more time setting up at a third location.
